The objective remains the same; to build an outpost, and a network of outposts which serve the needs of the survivors, and create a safe haven by producing food, medicine, and weapons. Managing production and defense are equally important. As the empire grows, a greater challenge becomes facility management as the logistical challenges increase due to the complexity of the expanding network. You will need to build a more efficient distribution network to service your growing empire.

Combat is tactical and occurs through an RPG system. Players will create a team of heroes, who are the main characters and the primary defense against the zombie threat. Players must provide a myriad of weapons to their characters in order to help them succeed in different scenarios. The RPG system helps characters gain experience levels and learn special skills to help tip the balance in battle.
