PolicE Patrol Simulator drops you into a realistic simulation of a day in the life of a policeman. The main gameplay is exploring and interacting with your environment to enforce the law. As a player, you take on the role of a cop and your job is to cruise around in the police vehicle to check up on citizens. You are given a lot of freedom to interact with citizens in any way you see fit and the game basically runs itself with no complicated mechanics to learn. The immersion is increased and patrolling citizens becomes more direct with the addition of a first-person perspective for your character. The seamless transition between driving and walking means you are free to get in or out of your vehicle at any time. First person perspective while getting in or out of your car means that you are really in control of your own environment and that interacting with your surroundings is a direct experience.

There are various ways patrol officers can stop a potential crime in progress, and one way is to pull over a vehicle. To initiate a pull over, the player must first identify a vehicle of interest and stop it. The vehicle will pull over once it is in front of the player’s vehicle. Once both vehicles have pulled over, players can approach the other vehicle, assess the situation, and determine the reason for the pull-over and the traffic violation. Based on the reason for the traffic violation, players will respond accordingly.
