You’ll find yourself stranded on a drifting spaceship, the setting for a psychological science-fiction adventure. With crew members stuck in a time loop, you’ll need to help them decipher the nature of a lurking danger. This danger is carried by a member of the crew and is known as the Gnosia. The Gnosia is an infection that alters an individual’s perception and behavior, thus forcing the crew to band together and unmask the danger amongst them through a series of discussions and votes. Each cycle presents a new opportunity to slowly decipher the lingering danger; however, clues from previous cycles will always be available to the player. Throughout the game, players will find themselves in an environment littered with feelings of claustrophobia, isolation and rising tension, as they are forced to look inward to decipher who is working against them. Each cycle will present new roles for the players and nothing will ever be certain, thus forcing the player to be continually aware of their surroundings. Social deduction will always be the largest factor for survival, and players will need to determine who to trust in their unit before the roles reset and the environment around them re-arranges itself.

Play involves social deduction and behavior analysis during discussion phases. Players must break down dialogue to find the lies, and discover what each crew member is hiding. Decisions during these phases can also alter the flow of the game, such as deciding to speak or not to speak during a phase, or deciding when to make an accusation. There is strategy in identifying enemies, but also in managing how the rest of the group interprets the player. An ill-timed or unsubstantiated accusation can turn the suspicion of the AI on the player. Players must evaluate how characters alter their social behaviors toward them in each new timeline based on how the roles assigned to the characters alter. Even with player actions remaining the same in a given timeline, characters are free to use previous behaviors to inform their choices in a given timeline, ensuring gameplay is fresh and unpredictable.

As time progresses in the game, players gradually piece together fragments of truth that tell the story of the spaceship and the crew. How the story progresses, however, is tied to how long the player is able to survive.
