Songhub v3.1.6.7 Karaoke APK (Offline Karaoke for Android & TV)

If you love karaoke nights but not monthly subscriptions, SongHub is worth a look. This free karaoke player turns an Android phone, tablet or TV into a song-number karaoke machine that works without internet once your songs are in place. It comes from jpdcs, the developer behind SongHub Legacy (formerly MegaOke for PC), and the SongHub APK has gone viral among karaoke fans since its late-September 2026 release.

Note that SongHub 2 on the iPad App Store is an unrelated songwriting tool.

What Is SongHub?

SongHub is a karaoke player, not a streaming service. You supply the music, either MIDI (.mid) and KAR (.kar) files with synced lyrics or MP3 tracks. The app reads them from a SongHub folder and plays MIDI songs through a SoundFont (.sf2), the instrument bank that shapes the backing music. Nothing streams, so there is no buffering, and when we inspected version 3.1.67 we found no ad SDK inside.

Key Features of SongHub Karaoke

– Runs on phones, tablets and Android or Google TV, with D-pad remote support.
– Plays MIDI, KAR and MP3 karaoke with lyrics you can resize and restyle.
– Loads custom .sf2 SoundFonts for richer instrument sounds.
– Shows background videos, photo slideshows or a live camera feed behind the lyrics.
– Includes a media player for your own MP4 and MP3 files.
– Works with Smart Link Remote, a companion app that turns a second phone into a remote for searching songs, queuing and changing the key.

4. Add your own karaoke files, or download the sample SoundFont and the 526 MB song pack from the same GitHub page over Wi-Fi.
5. Open SongHub, enter your activation key and pick a song number. To use Smart Link Remote, install it on a second phone running Android 9 or later and connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi.

Who Is SongHub For?

SongHub suits families who want home karaoke on the TV they already own. Unlike popular karaoke APK options such as Smule or StarMaker, it skips online duets and recording in favor of offline playback and full control of your library. The MIDI sound feels closer to a classic karaoke machine than to studio tracks.

Known Issues and User Complaints

SongHub is only a few weeks old, and early users report several problems:

– Activation is now mandatory. Version 3.1.67 added a device-linked activation key, although the project’s GitHub README still promises “no activations.” The developer blames people who resold the free APK and charged for installs. Users say keys come from a generator link on the official SongHub Facebook page, yet over 270 GitHub requests, mostly for keys, were still open on October 9, 2026.
– The update broke old song packs. Users had to reinstall the app and download a new sample pack, and some songs were removed.
– Unofficial copies are everywhere. SongHub is not on Google Play, mirror sites list different version numbers, and some sellers charge for the free app. Ignore keys or tools shared on forums.
– Permissions are broad. The app asks for all-files access, camera, microphone and permission to install updates, one more reason to install only the official file.
– Rough edges remain. Reports mention a laggy remote, song numbers not registering correctly on Fire TV, failed sample downloads and “This song is not supported” errors.

Is SongHub Worth Trying?

If you miss song-number karaoke machines, SongHub is one of the most interesting karaoke APK releases of 2026. It is free, works offline and suits a living-room TV. Download it only from the developer’s GitHub page, back up your SongHub folder, and follow the official SongHub Karaoke Facebook group for activation and update news.
