About Everlasting Summer
Everlasting Summer narrates Semyon, a city man bound to a routine of monotone and uneventful days. The cycle comprises of the morning commute to work, the evening commute from work, the evening meal, and bedtime. One uneventful day, a routine disruption occurs on his commute, provoked by a hypnotic combination of heavy snowfall and a lulling atmosphere that put him in a deep slumber. Semyon wakes up in an entirely new environment. Snow replaced by sun, and the bus stopped at the Owlet pioneer camp. How he ended up there and what he should do next is the new mystery he must answer.
Spending time at the Owlet camp means Semyon gets to meet hundreds of campers and staff. This helps Semyon learn to make friends, and deal with what is both familiar and unfamiliar, about this new world. The narrative will depend on your exploration of various places around the camp such as the bus drop off, the playground, the boat dock, and the clubhouse. During his camp stay, Semyon meets Olga Dmitrievna the counselor, along with Slavya, Lena, Alisa, and Ulyana, other campers. Each of these encounters has numerous ways Semyon can unravel the secrets of the camp and of his arrival. The choices the player makes determine how deep these encounters and the relationships Semyon makes are.
As the game progresses, players have to decide whether or not Semyon returns to his old life. The game introduces themes about love, and personal growth to the unraveled secrets in the pioneer camp. This camp offers players card tournaments, helping with camp chores, and lots of opportunity to explore in the surrounding woods.
