About Remixlive
Remixlive is a music application and performance platform developed by Mixvibes to allow for the composition and performance of music in a quick and easy manner. Using intelligent tools and features, the application allows for the production of better audio quality content. Through the application, creators have the ability to create a lasting impression on their audience by supplying them with a large variety of sounds and a large variety of options in rhythms. For those that may wish to design music with a variety of layers and attract audience members, this application gives the ability to do so. This application helps to fill in the gaps left by digital audio workstations for end users that don’t have professional sound engineering or digital audio editing backgrounds.
The Freedom Sample and Set Memory feature is a key part of the application and provides users the opportunity to develop a variety of creative random song samples. One huge benefit of this system is the ability to construct intricate rhythms, and/or melodies, and position them relative to the overall structure of a song. While using this system, users are free to incorporate an almost infinite number of different effects to manipulate the sample. Users of the application are encouraged to use the available effects to find creative ways to apply them to their work. Because the effects and samples are completely adjustable, the application provides a great deal of control to the user in terms of the composition of a song, particularly with how individual elements of a song can come together to create a particular feeling or style.
There are also stunning visual displays with the sound portion of the application. These displays are made up of a variety of styles. These styles include a representation of repeating rhythms and waves. While it is visually stimulating, it is actually functionally powerful. The visual representation provides a way to help the user perfect the small elements of their sound in regards to the overall composition. With the standard tools to create a composition, users are also able to switch to a Live Set mode. This mode is intended to be a performance mode and encourages users to be more interactive and creative with their performance. It changes the application to an instrument for performance. In this mode, users can manipulate effects and sounds to create a performance and showcase it to their audience in real-time.
The arrangement system allows sounds to be placed along a timeline to construct an organized track. This system challenges users to get creative when arranging and incorporating sounds in a way that makes sense to the track’s progression. Additionally, users are given templates to help build sound sequences and add new elements to a track. These templates can also be used as inspiration when users get stuck in their creative process. The timeline helps integrate every element of a song and provides a means to export or perform the song once it is complete. Using these templates, users can easily make complex song arrangements that would normally take a significant amount of time to make manually.
Recording and distribution are the final steps of the artistic path provided by this application. Every recording can be captured directly, allowing the user’s voice to be woven in with important instruments and rhythmic patterns. For this reason, the application can be used by a wide range of users, such as vocalists and beat makers. A major benefit of using this application is that the music made is royalty-free, which means that users have the opportunity to download their music and use it as they wish without having to pay anything else. A track can be recorded and when completed it can be shared on different social networking sites. Sharing is important for musicians, because they want their music to be listened to by others and also to build a fan base. The music made within the application can be shared on any social networking site, and the application provides a direct link between the musicians and the listeners.
