Other players attack to control the land while you summon different heroes and Arthur’s soul to help protect the land. You must fight to protect your borders. Resource warfare also plays a big part, as you must fight to gather the resources needed to grow your kingdom. As a new King Arthur, you manage your kingdom’s territorial growth as well as your military.

Building your kingdom relies heavily on your combat and resource management prowess. There are different costs for kingdom upkeep and growth that you must pay, and in order to do so, you must collect different items. A lot of the kingdom building is done through match victories against players, as you gain their territory as well as items they were holding. Every match is a big part of your kingdom’s growth, as the core of your kingdom’s size is through the territory that you control.

Players summon and command heroes in a turn-based combat system. Players choose 10 from a party of many so they must create a party that brings out the strengths of each hero. In each turn, players watch as the squads automatically fight each other but have the strategize before the match where they place their heroes in the correct slots. The outcome of the battle is decided by where each player placed their heroes.

Each hero has legendaries, like Excalibur or the Holy Grail, which players can collect to give their heroes stronger equipment. Once players complete missions and fighting other players, they can obtain these legendary items. As the player’s opponents get harder to defeat, the player must persist in obtaining these items.
